The Tunisian Esports Federation (TUNESF), led by its President Maher Serouli, has officially inaugurated its new headquarters in El Menzah 1, Tunis, during a formal ceremony attended by government officials, national champions, representatives from the public and private sectors, media outlets, and content creators.

A State-of-the-At Esports Facility

Designed as the first facility of its kind in Tunisia on this scale, the new headquarters can accommodate more than 30 players simultaneously in a single esports discipline. Rather than serving solely as an administrative office, the center has been built as a comprehensive esports hub where competition, education, and content creation come together.

The facility includes:

• National Teams Training Hall – A fully equipped space for Tunisian national teams and visiting international delegations as part of future partnerships and training camps.
• Education & Certification Room – Dedicated to training coaches, referees, and esports commentators in collaboration with Tunisia's Ministry of Youth and Sports.
• Broadcast Studio – A professional production space for livestreaming national competitions and creating esports content.
• Public Gaming Area – Open to esports enthusiasts, allowing players to access the venue for a symbolic participation fee.
• Private Event Spaces – Available for companies and organizations to rent for esports-related events under the federation's supervision.

Speaking during the inauguration, President Maher Serouli explained that part of the facility will be leased to private partners, creating a sustainable source of revenue for the federation. He also announced that the venue will be made available to other national sports federations wishing to organize educational programs for their coaches and officials.

TUNISIAN ESPORTS SUPER LEAGUE
One of the event's biggest announcements was the complete restructuring of Tunisia's National Esports Championship.

Previously held as a single annual event, the championship will  ransition into a 35-week competitive season, covering 16 esports titles and focusing primarily on games featured in regional and international competitions.

The new format is scheduled to launch in 2027, offering esports clubs and associations a more consistent competitive calendar and greater opportunities for player development throughout the year.

A New Chapter for Tunisian Esports

The inauguration comes at a time when Tunisian esports continues to gain international recognition. Tunisia currently ranks first in Africa according to the International Esports Federation's rankings, while its national teams continue to qualify for major world championships.

With a modern headquarters, expanded training capabilities, and a revamped national competition structure, the Tunisian Esports Federation is laying the foundation for long-term growth. More than just a new building, the facility represents a strategic investment in the future of Tunisian esports and reinforces the country's ambition to become one of Africa's leading esports nations.
