Ahmed Bouzidi Earns Tunisia’s First Qualification for the Esports Nations Cup Finals
Tunisia will be represented at the Esports Nations Cup (ENC) Finals after Ahmed Bouzidi secured the country's first qualification spot through the African Chess Qualifiers.
Competing against some of the continent’s strongest players, Bouzidi put together an impressive run to book his place at the ENC Finals, becoming the first Tunisian athlete to qualify for the event.
The Esports Nations Cup, which will be held in Riyadh, brings together national teams from around the world in one of the most ambitious international esports competitions to date. The event features a range of titles and substantial prize pools, with individual rewards reaching up to $600,000 in Chess.
This qualification is another positive step for Tunisian esports and a testament to the growing level of competition demonstrated by Tunisian players on the international stage. It is also a proud moment for the local chess community, which continues to produce talented competitors capable of achieving results at the highest level.
While this achievement is already a significant one, Tunisia’s campaign is not over yet. Another qualification opportunity awaits during the next African qualifier, scheduled for June 13 and 14, where Tunisian players will once again compete for a place at the ENC Finals.
The Tunisian Esports Federation congratulates Ahmed Bouzidi on this achievement and wishes all Tunisian representatives success in the upcoming competitions.
